Essentials for Living
Essentials for Living (EFL) is a curriculum based on functional skills. EFL utilizes the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis as well as Skinner’s verbal operants. EFL is meant to support the most complex learners in your program as well as learners who no longer make progress in other ABA-based programs.

What is Discrete Trial Teaching
Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) is a research-based practice paired with Applied Behavioral Analysis strategies. DTT employs errorless teaching with error correction. Programs implementing DTT often use the VB-MAPP to assess and teach students specific skills. This course will review DTT, errorless teaching, as well as the VB-MAPP. Furthermore, level of professional development and coaching support will be discussed as well.

Competent Learner Model (CLM)
The Competent Learner Model is a supplemental curriculum based on research practices such as direct instruction, verbal behavior, and applied behavioral analysis. Through CLM, learners engage in 7 dynamic repertoires that are tied to Skinner’s verbal operants. Assessment, curriculum, and professional development are discussed in this overview of CLM.
