Holding onto Hope: Why MTSS Matters More Than Ever
The past few years have shaken our school communities to their core. As we navigate the aftershocks, schools are searching for solid ground – ways to rebuild, reconnect, and support learning and healing. Multi-tiered systems of Support offer that foundation, though implementing them in today’s reality often feels like climbing a mountain in a storm. This keynote combines what we know works with what we’re actually experiencing in schools today. We’ll talk honestly about creating those safe, predictable spaces our students desperately need while acknowledging how hard this work really is. Drawing from both research and real-world experience, we’ll explore why this systematic approach matters now more than ever—not despite our current challenges but because of them.
