Cassie Brusch
Cassie Brusch is a Project Consultant in the Office of Professional Learning at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. As a Project Consultant, she works in the areas of Special Education and Technology as well as supporting the Montgomery Virtual Program (MVP).
As a former teacher and instructional coach, Cassie has presented and facilitated various professional development sessions around instructional strategies for both in-class learning as well as virtual learning.
Cassie appreciates the opportunities we have to learn from one another and seeks to bring out the diverse perspectives from the “boots on the ground.” This ensures participants gain insight into which models and strategies can be the most useful to the learner and supports successful implementations so learners are encouraged to continue their development of new thinking and pedagogy.
Cassie holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Ursinus College and received her Masters in Special Education from Arcadia University. Cassie returned to Arcadia for the STEM Endorsement and TESOL Programs. As part of the STEM Program she traveled to Sicily, Italy for field experience in environmental education. She is a big podcast listener, which mostly fuels her true crime interest. Additionally, Cassie is passionate about dance and continues to take tap and jazz classes regularly.
