Jennifer Serravallo’s Literacy Strategies Consulting
Tackling Reading Research to Enhance Instruction Throughout the Day

This keynote workshop will be drawn from Jennifer Serravallo’s newly-released Teaching Reading Across the Day, K-8 as well as her strategies books. You will learn about the wide range of compelling research on how to best teach literacy to every student, throughout a literacy block AND across content studies.

In addition to the science, Jennifer Serravallo’s team will speak to the importance of tapping into the art of teaching-developing teacher creativity, decision-making, and responsiveness to individual student needs ensuring engagement. You will learn to embrace your teaching experiences and hone your expertise to make quick, effective classroom decisions that take student learning to the next level.

What can I expect? This professional learning experience will help you better understand the why AND how behind using high impact structures effectively in your instruction—no matter what approach to literacy you use, the grade level or subject area you teach or the developmental levels or ages of the students you teach.

Workshop Highlights

    • What the research says
